Athens Farmers Market

Every Saturday year-round and on Wednesdays during the warmer months, locals and
visitors alike get their fresh produce at the Athens Farmers Market.

Easy to find and called one of the nation's best markets by Audubon Magazine, the Athens
Farmers Market is a must-see for any lover of food and culture. Find fresh home-grown
vegetables, mouth-watering fruits and meats, fresh flowers, teas, breads and hand made
crafts. Listen to live music and visit with friends at the Farmers Market Cafe which offers hot
coffee and freshly prepared seasonal cuisine.

The market is open from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Saturday year-round and from 10 a.m. to 1
p.m. Wednesdays April through November.

Directions
From Rt 33E, take the East State Street exit, turn right, just past the Hampton Inn, the
Farmers Market will be on your left hand side in front of University Mall.
From Rt. 33W, take the East State Street exit, turn left, just past the Hampton Inn, the
Farmers Market will be on your left hand side in front of University Mall.
From Parkersburg and SR 50: take the East State Street exit and go straight, the Farmers
Market will be on your right hand side in front of University Mall.
